I asked my youngest daughter what she thought that liberal meant, and was shocked. The school INSTRUCTED her that she was liberal and the definition they gave her for liberalism was a mixture of lies and fantasy. After reading studies of curriculum from the early part of this century versus current curriculum, It is obvious that children in 1900 were better at math, english, science, and interpersonal relationships. It is, however, not the fault of the system, it is the fault of the people that allow that system to come into existence, and to continue to exist.
